Overview

Wi-Fi 8 brings a greater focus on ultra-high reliability and consistent wireless performance. VVDN's AI-Powered Wi-Fi 8 Access Point reference designs provide a foundation for OEMs, ISPs and Telcos looking to develop their own Wi-Fi 8 products. Built on the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ NPro A8 Elite platform, these tri-band solutions combine 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz connectivity with advanced edge AI processing capabilities to support evolving wireless networking requirements.

Designed to address different product needs, the two reference designs offer a choice of connectivity interfaces and expansion options. While the 4x4 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 8 Reference Design focuses on high-performance Wi-Fi 8 connectivity with multi-gigabit Ethernet, the 4x4 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 8 EVK extends the platform with additional interfaces and options for 5G, IoT and location-based connectivity.

VVDN enables customers to take these reference designs forward through customization, white labeling and manufacturing support. By building on an established engineering platform, OEMs and service providers can reduce development effort, tailor products to their target markets and accelerate time to market with differentiated Wi-Fi 8 access points.
